★Psychotherapy for adults and adolescents with the following difficulties: mood, anxiety and relationship problems; eating disorders; sexual abuse histories; dissociative identity disorders.
★Psychotherapy / counseling for moms who are at risk for postpartum reactions. Timely referral and intervention for the mother who is at risk, results in careful monitoring and in some cases prevention of a full blown postpartum disorder.
★Individual support and information for pregnant and adopting moms or dads includes designing a plan for support and help. Moms and dads are emotionally prepared and better supported, with less burnout, depression and anxiety after baby's birth or adoption.
★Psychotherapy for new moms and dads needing to process the many feelings changes & decisions that a new baby brings. This may include support through the 'baby blues'. Integrating one's new parenting identity into the rest of one's psychological, working, family, and social life is valuable.
★Psychotherapy for moms with antenatal and postpartum difficulties such as depression, anxiety and any time a pregnancy, adoption or postpartum period feels too overwhelming, difficult or painful.
