What is Health & Lifestyle Coaching?A Health & Lifestyle Coach addresses a variety of issues that impact your health and your quality of life. Lifestyle AssessmentDuring your comprehensive assessment I will help you identify obstacles that interfere with your ability to make and sustain lasting health changes. Together we will explore social, mental and emotional barriers such as your relationship with food and physical activity, your personal and emotional history, social and work commitments, stress, emotions, and support systems. Health & Lifestyle GoalsUsing various effective coaching tools as well as the guidelines from your healthcare providers (both mainstream and alternative), we will set specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, time-limited (SMART) goals. Coaching works best when you have clear goals based on your authentic needs and values. An exciting part of coaching is working towards your vision, which entails goal setting. Plan of ActionWe will discuss and clarify your goals and then put a step-by-step plan and structures in place to support you in obtaining them. As your coach, I act as someone that you are accountable to and this helps enormously with your success in staying on track. I support you to develop a clear, manageable, action plan for taking charge of your health. We will decide how often we need to meet or talk by phone and we will modify this plan where necessary depending on your results.
