Welcome

Are you ready to work on some changes in your life? You may be feeling depressed and unable to function fully in your life. Perhaps, you are worried and anxious and need someone to talk to. Maybe you are a parent worried about your child. Or you are going through a crisis which feels overwhelming to you.

Whether you are struggling with a current situation or need help with persistent symptoms, I welcome the opportunity to work with you. I appreciate how hard it is to take that first step and make an appointment; my office is a safe, welcoming place to address the life challenges and issues you are facing.

I use a variety of therapy approaches, incorporating what will be most helpful, working with each individual or family to best address their unique situation. Feel free to call my office (USA 269-857-5444) or email me; I look forward to the chance to talk with you about your needs and how I can help.

A little about me..

I have been providing psychotherapy for adolescents and adults since 1993. I received my Clinical Psycholosgy Masters degree in Cape Town, and have spent the past fifteen years practicing in South Africa and the USA. I currently work in Saugatuck, Douglas and Grand Rapids, Michigan.

I became certified as a Professional Life Coach through the International Coach Academy, achieving their CPC certificate. Life Coaching is a wonderful way to address concerns that do not require psychotherapy. Coaching over the telpehone and skype enables my Life Coaching clients to be situated all over the USA and the world

I work strictly on a sliding scale fee basis and am devoted to committed to fee arrangements that make possible a meaningful therapeutic or coaching experience.

When flowing water...meets with obstacles on its path, a blockage in its journey, it pauses. It increases in volume and strength, filling up in front of the obstacle and eventually spilling past it...

Do not turn and run, for there is nowhere worthwhile for you to go. Do not attempt to push ahead into the danger...emulate the example of the water: Pause and build up your strength until the obstacle no longer represents a blockage.
